The item shows vanilla coconut and the description at the beginning shows vanilla coconut but look closer the picture actually shows island coconut so it’s very deceiving. I love the glass holder and wanted to like it so bad but it stinks. It doesn’t smell like vanilla or coconut at all. I’m wondering if they’ve changed these candles or if we can still get the vanilla coconut scent. I’m bummed because I love the glass holder color and design but I would never burn this island coconut scent it’s very unpleasant.

I bought these hoping they would live up to the hype, glass jars reminded me of a luxury brand. Figured, give it a shot if it ends up being a dupe great! It’s not a terrible scent, but I felt like the vanilla didn’t smell super warm and cozy like something baking. It smelled very faint and barely has throw. The smell stays very close to where the candle is and has just like a sweet note. Not super buttery or warmer depth of scent. Points for it being a soy candle but if you are trying to save some Pennie’s and thinking this will be just like those l u x u r y candles..they aren’t.

Totally clean burning. Zero soot. Containers are adorable. They have a great scent throw both warm & cold. The only problem I find is occasional tunneling which is usually fixed with a longer burn time in a warm room. I LOVE the jasmine but the yuzu neroli is nice & light for summer. $40 might seem expensive but the burn time makes up for it & the cold throw too. You can place it in your space open & it still smells excellent. Long lasting beautiful candles. Worth it.

The glass is a sort of milky clear, but I had expected a frosted white color, based on the photo. The lid fits … sort of but rattles around. The scent isn’t the rich, sweet vanilla I expected but more of a citrusy vanilla. It’s still very pretty and as I bought it strictly as an ornament, it’s okay but not as great as I hoped.

This rose candle is beautiful and smells so good! I gave one to my best friend and when I opened it to make sure it arrived safely, I had to buy myself one. The glass container is something I plan to keep for storing little things in my bathroom. It reminds me of the depression glass I inherited from my grandmother.

This jar candle is very pretty. It looks nice sitting on a night stand or table and looks high end. It does NOT smell high end, however. I got the vanilla bomb scent and it doesn’t really smell like vanilla at all. It has a sort of herby, almost medicinal, scent to it. It does not have much of a throw so the scent doesn’t really fill the room anyhow, but I wanted a warm, sweet, rich vanilla scent and it just isn’t that at all. If I smelled this blindly I don’t even think I would guess vanilla.

I’ll start by saying this is in a very pretty jar and so far, it smells good. I don’t know about longevity because it’s intended to be a gift. But the “giftable” box is a mess, like a four year old packed it right after eating a peanut butter sandwich. The box lid is tore up – maybe someone tried opening it and tore it in the process? Then, there’s the fingerprints, including crusty ones, on the outside of the box. WTHeck happened to this? If it weren’t going to be a gift, I could live with it. But it is a gift, and there is information about the candle on the box. It’s not giftable, as is. Initially happy with the product, but the messed up packaging is disappointing and ruins its purpose as a gift. If the box weren’t messed up, it’d be a nice gift.

Does not put out much fragrance. I got the grapefruit and I can’t even smell it burning unless I am right at the candle. It comes in a beautiful glass jar with a glass lid. But I disappointed in the spit of fragrance that it exudes.

The glass is breathtaking I think the cost is in the packaging. I will try another scent. But this one was just ok.Since this review the company reached out to me to ensure my experience was a positive one. They made a suggestion for an alternate scent based on my original choice and OMG IT IS AMAZING. As before the jar is stunning! I received the Vanilla Rose and Sandalwood candle. It smells DIVINE!!!! The candle burns for a long time. I tend to burn my candles often. If you’re looking for a scent, beauty and value for the money. This one is it!!

My mother in law requested a candle for Christmas, as she has been in to burning them lately to get her home smelling better. She said she likes fresh laundry and citrus scents. I like the high end brand that this candle sort of looks similar to-but I didn’t want to spend the extra money for that certain candle. It’s by my bedside now. Lovely glass jar with lid, very pale pink, and the scent is delightful. So far very light but distinctly rose. Not really getting the sandalwood yet but it has only been lit for 5 minutes. I have had several of these candles in different scents, and they are all rich in perfume and long-lived. Do burn it for at least one hour on first lighting, so you get an even melting pool of wax, not just a little around the wick (or wicks for bigger candles). I have saved the spent candles and plan to re-use the jars by making refills myself. Yes, they are expensive, but they do burn a long time and the scents are incredible. Love them! Have found a good place to buy refill kits. It’s called “SIBLINGS.”
