I absolutely LOVE anything pine, cedar/ balsm scented – and this is exactly that! Being a well known/ used brand, the throw on this candle is just right & love how much lingers in the air even after it’s blown out. The perfect winter time scent that makes ya want to cozy up on the couch with a blanket, while watching it snow outside the window….Reminds me so much of when we were kids, just coming in from playing outside when school was canceled & mom had the hot cocoa w/ marshmallows sitting there all ready for us! Scent plays such a huge part in those long ago memories!

I am using this candle in a large wax melting device. it is a nice looking candle, but I was hoping for more scent. Perhaps it would be better in a smaller space. Not even a week and scent is virtually gone.Glad I didn’t pay full price for it.

My Yankee Candle arrived today – in mint condition! Originally, the packaging looked like a dozen eggs from a rare species of chickens because of its exposure to radiation near Chernoble’s (sp?) Nuclear power plant, BUT ! I looked again, and inside was the glass jar of the Balsam & Cedar Candle – in PERFECT condition!!! I now understand the concept of the irrregular molded paper mâché shape, which allows for movement within the shipping box without damaging the glass! How brilliant of your designers! This concept should be applied to our rocket ship walls! Car seat interiors! Wow! Endless possibilities! Give that designer a raise!!

I wanted a candle that gave a spruce type scent for the holiday season. This is IT. Yankee candle is such a great product, no artificial materials are used so it is a clean burn all the way around. I’ve burned it every night and it still has a long way to go. The discount candles are never worth buying, they don’t have the real scent you’re looking for. Highly recommend.

The scent is strong – really fills up the room with a woodsy, holiday vibe that I love. It’s like bringing a bit of the outdoors inside, especially nice since I live in the city. The candle burns evenly too, so it feels like I’m getting my money’s worth. However, if you’re not into stronger scents, this might be a bit much in smaller spaces. Overall, super happy with this purchase – it’s like a little escape to the woods whenever I light it up.

I loved the smell. No underlayer of chemical when burning or kerosene smell when extinguished. However, the height sacrificed fragrance as the scent can’t travel much once the wax is past the halfway point. It also didn’t burn down to glass per usual.

Every time I ask my son if he wants something specific he says I don’t care or I don’t know. But if I ask him if he wants this item he immediately says yes. The burn time is many months. The wick is easy to light and metal free. It’s relaxing to smell and see the flickering light. It’s a good candle that lasts a long time.

I love the smells of the holidays and this candle promises that. I smoke cigars and I use this and another candle to kill the cigar smell and they do quite well. Expensive but I am pleased with the scent and strength. These are used in a bedroom so not sure how well they would perform in a large room like a living room or den.

This candle has the most realistic scent for its name. You can take a walk through the woods on a cold winter day as I often did with my Golden Retrievers, then walk in the house and think you never left the woods. This candle is an essential in our house, as I think it is in most of northern New England, Canada, and other states that make up the top of the lower forty-eight states. It is not just for Christmas and doesn’t even have to be lit to find a small whiff of woodland scent in the air. Even in the dead heat of summer this fragrance brings on a cooling rush of calm.

To remedy that, I ordered a spray that was very expensive and the smell lingered for seven or eight hours. With this candle, however, I burned it for about four hours and three days later, the room still smells great. I have not bought Yankee candles very often because of the expense. But in this case, the price is well worth the satisfaction of having a Christmas tree scent permeate the room. Also, the scent was more realistic than the spray, and the candle was delivered much faster than the spray.

At first lighting, the 2 wicks seemed not to produce a full flame. However, after that first time the wicks were normal and ok.I wish that the scent were stronger…bought one many years ago from this company and the scent was definitely stronger.

TLDR: Mistletoe Yankee Candle, a personal festive favorite.
Stepping into the realm of Yankee Candles for the first time, I stumbled upon what quickly became my all-time favorite: the Mistletoe scent. It’s like bottling up the essence of Christmas – think of a fresh fir tree decked out in holiday glory. 
However, there’s a bit of a bittersweet twist. The plug-ins for this delightful scent have vanished from the shelves. But here’s my little secret: I’ve stockpiled enough to last me a decade! Yep, every time I hit Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I swept their stock clean.Now, Yankee Candle often promotes their Balsam Cedar scent as a festive alternative. But let me tell you, it’s not the same. It’s like comparing a dense, dark forest to the light, airy feel of a winter wonderland. Balsam Cedar is too intense, missing that sweet, heavenly touch that Mistletoe nails perfectly.It’s fascinating how scents can divide opinions. Mistletoe and Balsam Cedar seem to have their own fan clubs. It all boils down to personal preference – what one nose finds enchanting, another might not.For me, though, Mistletoe will always be the scent that captures the magic of Christmas, with its perfect blend of festive cheer and fragrant fir.

It’s a Yankee candle, so of course it is wonderful, but I ordered the bayberry and was promised it would arrive for New Year’s Eve. It did not. It was delivered January 2. When I saw it had still not been shipped by 7 pm on NYE I cancelled the order. I got a message saying I couldn’t. Got a notice the next day that there was a delay in shipping with the option to cancel, so I did. It still didn’t process the cancellation. Not sure why prime fees keep going up when customer service is going downhill fast.
